Now when i connect it to my Desktop running Windows 8 with Media Centre, it shows the drivers being installed. But when i turn on the camera app, nothing is displayed. I also installed the driverswhich came the webcam though it said for Windows 7, Vista and XP.Problem is i start webcam app, Windows restarts. It happens every time i start the camera. Uninstalled the drivers and then system does not restart, but like before the Camera app shows nothing.My Desktop has 1 TB HDD, AMD Athlon X2 260 Processor, 4GB RAM on a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 motherboard and an Acer S191HQl Monitor.Do i have to return the webcam or is there a workaround.
