Hello, This is a Vintage 1960's Hagstrom Bass Guitar. The bass professionally set-up and plays amazing. The bass is also all original except the frets have been removed. This is a fretless. But can easily put new frets in if needed. This was made in sweeden with the highest quality construction. All original pick-ups.

Pick-guard and tuners. The finish is red with checking and minor playwear. There is a good chip on the guitar. Thanks and all the best. Tom 3j.RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Fuk%601d72f%2Bij%7Fil7g%3E3j-13c907e8e03-0xf4.

The bass has been modded and plays fantastic. The Velvet Hammer P Style Pickups from the late 70’s were added at some point. The slider switch on the upper horn is not functional and is not even wired into the circuit.

A plate has been added on the pickguard with three toggle switches that turn each pickup on and off and a master volume and master tone. The saddle on the bridge is not original. The neck plate is missing so we do not have a serial. Number to date the bass. The pickguard screws are not original.

Cosmetically the bass is rough with scratching and dings to the body and the back of the neck(see pics) On the other hand this bass is an amazing player with phenomenal tone. The neck is fast like Hagstrom always advertises even though you can feel the denting on the back of the neck. The action is nice and low and the bass has been professionally setup here in our shop.

This includes truss rod adjustment. Fret dressing, nut and saddle adjustment, fretboard conditioning, and much more. If you are looking for a great player and vintage Hagstrom this may be the bass for you. It has been turned into a one of a kind bass with a great vibe and plays great. Good Luck and Happy Bidding! Looks like it may be cut from a single piece of wood. Very nice condition overall. Original shielding is intact, as well as the ground wiring and bridge adjustment lugs.

Beautifuy made, good working vintage 60s Hagstrom Coronado bass. I believe it's mahogany. The brownburst color looks to be the natural color, stained, going to black along the edges.

Surface wear, dents, dings but plays very well. Good frets, notes are clean, sounds excellent amped up. Selector and tone control buttons are just a little bit fussy but do work and keep their selected positions fine. Both Pickups seem to work very well and sound awesome. Swivel arm volume control works very well and can make for some cool effects. Action is medium, very plaable with slight neck relief. Have not tried turning the truss adjustment at all.

Around 32' scale, medium scale, slightly longer than the typical Hagstrom H! And more girth.

It's a heavier bass than the shorter scale Hagstroms. Mostly of note is the stress lines around.

They occur in many vintage guitars and most times don't present a problem(based on my readings of on=line chat on the subject) This bass tunes well and stays in tune well so I think it's very solid. I'm only selling it due to some unexpected car and moving expenses. I'm not primarily a bass player and settled on my Harmony H-28 bass only because it's lighter in overall weight and feel, though this one's tone is actually better, though they have a similar sound.

Comes with this nice case that is shown-some pics may show a strap but that is not included. Not often these come up due to their rarity and I'm not against keeping it! Will be packed well. For sale is this 1967 Guild Starfire Bass IISB electric semi-hollowbody bass guitar made in Hoboken. This all original first generation example, serial number BA 148 2.

Features: 2) highly desirable Hagstrom-made Bi-Sonic pickups, a beautiful sunburst finish, 4) Kluson tuning machines with clover-shaped buttons, a chrome harp profile bridge plate with rosewood saddles, chrome insert'G' logo control knobs, a laminated M aple body construction with a center block. A M ahogany neck with an unbound Rosewood fingerboard. A small profile neck volute.

A requisite shrunken headstock overlay/ veneer. And all original electronics. The original production basses have become so desirable that even the recent reissues consistently sell for over $2.000.00. This well-played, though entirely intact and original, example may appear to be quite.

Worn, but remains in perfect structural condition with no breaks, no cracks, no modifications, nor any other significant issues. Extremely coveted. And exceeding ly rare.

There are few opportunit ies to buy a nice Guild Starfire Bass II. So take advantage of this offer, because you might not want to wait another 2 years for another! This is a premium player's piece: it plays perfectly. Sounds incredi ble.

And certainly looks the part. The neck is as straight as an arrow. And th e neck angle permits the absolutely lowest action possible. The pickups are both extremely efficient. The tone of which is simply unparalleled by those in an y other hollowbody bass.

Quite simply. T he reason why this bass looks the way it does. It because once someone gets their hands on it, they won't wann a put it down. Th is'67 Guild SF Bass IISB features an attractive sunburst finish that displays decades of isolated playing wear.

T he finish on the back of the mahogany neck has been completely worn off. Even the edge of the chrome-plated pickup surround reveals the brass underneath. With significant playing wear and large scratches.

This bass guitar has incredible patina and personalit. Vintage late-60s Hagstrom bass guitar PICK GUARD for project or parts. Very nice condition overall.

Though there are some light scratches and general wear. Almost all of the white print is still intact, except for up by the ON/OFF switch.

Fantastic sound. Blemishes( surface scratches. Dings) consistent with a vintage bass guitar over 40 years old. There has been some minor work done on the bridge as can be seen in the pictures. This is a very rare original Hagstrom bass; it is very difficult to find this model in this color. An amazing instrument in very good condition.

Made in Sweden. Serial number 696xxx.

Included is a very nice fitting aftermarket soft'gig bag' case. The Hagstrom Concord bass was produced in four batches between 1965 and 1971.

According to shipping data there were three batches of Concord C1. And one batch of the Concord Deluxe C2, although this is actually incomplete. A few examples have turned up with batch numbers. Other than those listed in the data, although it is not clear how big these batches were. There were some small changes over the course of production; early models(from batch 647) had a floating rosewood bridge, later changing to a fixed bridge) a rectangular tailpiece(changing to the Hagstrom Crest design) and a plain(or no? Cool lavender color. There are a few nicks on the back near the tail piece and a tiny bit of the vinyl has pulled out some near where the neck bolts on(shrinking? Small cracking in the clear lucite top near one screw hole(see photos) The neck seems straight.

Early to mid 1960's, serial number is#609197 MADE IN SWEDEN Made between 1963 and 1970 this appears to be an earlier model.

Great condition. Plays like a dream and sounds incredible! All switches work but are intermittent at times, might just need a cleaning. Great daphne blue colour and that traditional Fender headstock!

Some cracking in the finish that can be seen in the pics. Great condition for it's age. Any questions please just ask. Shipping to Canada is $49 and to Continental USA $59.

Includes Insurance. This Hagstrom 1 Bass guitar body. Suitable for a project. The bass came to me nearly complete but with various minor issues. I've had it strung up under full string tension and it demonstrated no structural issues. In experimenting with solutions to finishing it.

I decided to use the neck and pickups for a different project(as the plastic cover over the body was cracked, and the original bridge was missing, thus presenting a challenge in completing it, nothing to do with this body) This body is solid and would make for a great custom project, or for replacing a damaged original. The vinyl bottom cover is in good shape throughout most of the underside, but a bit ragged along parts of the edges, though no significant tears, but a bit of lifting around the horns. At one point smelled a bit musty/mildewy when I first got it, though it has.

Mellowed quite a bit and I can't notice it anymore. Only what is shown. The wood body and the vinyl backing, is included in the auction.

Good usable part. No returns please. All original cherry red'67 Hagstrom Concord Bass. Neck is straight and the action is low. All electronics work as they should. The rosewood fingerboard is smooth and the frets are in good shape. Some checking and chipping of the finish around the neck pocket where the neck block had once become loose.

It was professionally reglued and has never been an issue since. The bridge posts have left slight depressions in the body from years of string tension; I know this to be a common issue since I've owned three other Concords over the years and they all showed the same depressions.

There are some minor dings on the neck and headstock but overall it is a great looking and playing bass. It has the original case which is in good condition, no tears or hardware issues. It will be well padded and packed for shipping, no worries.

Will ship internationally but please contact me for a quote on the shipping cost. Thanks for looking. Up for auction is a very cool 1960's Hagstrom I Electric Bass Guitar.

Great playing and sounding guitar! No issues to note. Previous owner added a swap of vintage grill cloth as that trim piece was missing. All electronics work as they should and are clean. Amazingly cool vintage Made in Sweden Guitar.

Stays in tune and looks GREAT! Frets have tons of life left. All pickup/electronics/controls work as they should. Ready for the stage or studio or your collection! Ask all questions BEFORE buying. Payment required within 72 hours of auction close. Local pick-up very welcome.

International shipping available. Item will be packed VERY well. SALE IS FINAL.

SOLD AS-IS with NO PARTIAL REFUNDS. Item will be shipped to the LOWER 48 CONTINENTAL STATES ONLY at quoted price. Alaska and Hawaii please contact me for a shipping quote. BID WITH CONFIDENCE! A 1963 Hagstrom Model I Bass in excellent condition and in good working order. Featuring the famous'thin fast neck with expander stretcher, this Hagstrom has a similar feel to your favorite Fender Jazz Bass, but with a tone all its own. The tonal range between the pickups is quite surprising, with mellow, Motown thump on the neck pickup and a bit of growl and punch when you flip over to the bridge position.

The solid rosewood saddle is another essential element of the Hagstrom sound, with a warmth and surprising clarity that you can only experience on one of these vintage Swedish instruments! The neck has the narrow nut width and slim C profile associated with 60s Hagstroms and the original. Small frets are in good shape with lots of life left. The'Hagstrom I' decal is intact on the headstock and the stock tuners.

Hold pitch well. All of the electronics work as they should, and while the a switch or two can prove a bit finicky at times, they all engage well once you toggle them back and forth a time or two. We've cleaned all of the switch contacts so that they make the best connections possible. The fiberglass top is in great overall condition, with the only notable wear being a couple small cracks near the input jack, which move very little when inserting a cable. These jacks are notoriously fragile and this one is in better shape than most! The vinyl that covers the wood on the back of this bass is original and has yellowed moderately over the decades. There are a few small expected small tears in the vinyl where it meets the fiberglass top and some buckle rash on the back, but no serious or structural wear of any kind.

Around the contours of the two horns the vinyl has also turned slightly brownish in color, but this patina is all to be expected for a Hagstrom of this vintage, given the materials used to construct these very early models! A gigbag is included(not pictured) Please check out our shop on the web. And feel free to call us directly with any questions at 206.818.9329. Julianelli Music is proud to offer this classic 1970's Hagstrom Swede Bass made in Sweden!

This bass is in played condition and things to note: Finish on guitar is still very shiny and no major chips or dings. Just small marks with proof of playing.

All original parts. Pickup surounds are craked, but pennies to replace with any typical humbucker surround. Headstock looks like a cigarete may have melted the tip part where the logo is, as it is notably not smooth like the rest of the headstock. The back of neck has been touched up with red paint in what appears to be slight seperation in the glue of the wood.

Please look at photos. Two of the fret markers have been replaced with aftermarket abalone/shell fret markers(these were always falling out of these guitars. This guitar has nice lower action, no warps or bows and plays like a dream. It is a heavy guitar, but is well made and shows a quality of guitar making that is found in upper guitar companies, Gibson, Paul Reed Smith, ect. A very nice overall guitar this is moderatly priced to sell and will be a great player as well as an addition to your collection.

This bass Guitar has some nicks and wear from use and it is one of the more difficult Hagstrom guitars to find because everyone seems to be holding on to the few HIIN models that are still left.

THESE ARE SOME RARE AND GOOD BASS GUITARS TO OWN. It has a serial# of 53 907034 which should be right at a 1974 model. The black on-off switch on the upper body part of this fast neck guitar is not working at this time(the switch will slide back and forth but the guitar stays on) This equipment also comes with an adjustable bridge and it has the H- extension truss rod system which supports the thin neck and low action(allen wrench not included) I believe this year model has the'dual coil' humbuckers. The plastic brackets to the pickups are either broke or cracked and need to be replaced. Both of the humbuckers- the two volume controls- the two tone control knobs and the three way switch seem to be working fine. 42' from the headstock to the tail.

This guitar has a solid and clear sound when played on a tube amp. Sorry the stand is not included and there is no case. Please review this item carefully before your purchase.

This equipment may be shipped by another carrier for cost purposes only. No reasonable offer will be refused. Thx for bidding.

All original'65 bass This is a really nice playing and sound bass guitar It's not in bad shape for almost 50 years old Has some dings in the neck that you can see in the pictures The body has some paint loss on the bottom and the edge Scratches from being played on the back and pick guard Has new flat wound strings Finger board is in great condition as are the frets All electronics work with no scratchy noise Guitar is lightweight weighing 7.2lbs Comes with a older TKL hard shell case that's in pretty good shape with some scratches If you have any questions feel free to email me. I respond fairly quickly. Hagstrom Swede guitars and basses were top of the line in the 1970’s.

Not an LP bass copy. This one has lots of thump and will also come out front when called upon. This bass has the original case which is pretty beat up and has some hemp twine for a handle, but the latches are all working great and the case is solid.

The bass has finish checking, dings, worming, etc. All over the body and neck, as seen in the photos. When you have a great bass, it got played a lot and shows it. This one was played and shows it.

The pickup surrounds are broken. It needs a new set screw in the bridge for string spacing adjustment, but the string spacing is fine and needs no adjustment at this time. It's also heavy, it weighs about 12lbs. On eBay since 1997. And in mail order since 1991, Texas Guitar Ranch has been an active buyer and seller and brings.

Very rare Hagstrom Coronado VI bass. Just over 1000 of these were made back in the 60s. This one generally works fine and sounds great with very nice tone. But has a few minor issues. Scale is 32' making it medium scale. The original brown burst finish is marked by numerous small dents and dings. Though the flash does exaggerate them.

There are two cracks around the neck junction that don't seem structural, as it holds under tension and stays in tune no problem. Both pickups work and you get a good variety of tone with the tone buttons. Though one or two of them need to be depressed a few times to switch properly. The slide volume works well. The plate for the input jack has one loose spot but the plug works well. The bass plays well and most of the notes are clean and sustain well. Except for a few further up the neck on the E.

A strings after i lowered the action somewhat. The neck is straight with only very minimal relief, about a millimeter or so from being flat. Comes with a hard shell case that is in good shape.

Just has a few scuffs on the surface and slight peeling of the vinyl that can be glued back into place. Please, so ask any questions you may have.

The Coronado was only produced in moderate numbers; 1157 basses in total. In seven batches between 1963 and 1970. They were also distributed in the UK by Selmer as the Futurama Coronado. America had no shortage of quality guitar manufacturers.

But Hagstrom still managed to export guitars there, to be distributed firstly by Merson, then Unicord and finally Ampeg. The Coronado was a good middle ground between a typical Fender and Gibson bass. Mahogany body and neck like a Gibson, but with a bolt-on construction and single-coil pickups like a Fender.

And a scale of 32' half way between the two. Coronados were initially available as a four string bass a. Ebay template Click to Enlarge INVENTORY#20492.

Please add a detailed description to posts and titles.READ THIS! I asked this on another subreddit but it was a circlejerk subreddit and I didnt really realize what that meant. My father in law was given a super swede as a gift from a friend and he was wondering if I could track down how to date it.So far I have not had a lot of luck dating it as I don't know a whole lot about guitars.

I only play casually once in a while and when I have questions I generally go to him or a friend of mine who collects but neither know how to date it.I can post pictures if needed.Edit: Pictures below. So, the first thing I notice from the photos is that's not the Super Swede. It's just a standard Hagstrom Swede.

You can tell because the normal Swede has the three way toggle on the cutaway that controls the tone cuts. The Super Swede doesn't have that, but instead has a two way mini toggle near the volume pots that coil taps.Another big difference is that the Swede is 24.75 inch scale, while Super Swede is 25.5 inch scale.

I don't know if that will help you unearth that guitar's past, but here's hoping.
