On the frame is the S/N, and the same BWB318 marking. The BWB marking is also repeated in faint gold on the right side of the barrel, inside the slide. Make: Heckler & Koch Model: P7 Serial Number: 13727. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number, eagle over “N”, IA date code and Ulm antler. The lower portion of the left grip is marked 'HK P7'. The magazine is marked 'P7 9X19 / IA', with 7 witness holes marked from 2 to 8. HK pistols use a two letter date code to identify the year of manufacture. This USP Full Size.40S&W has a date code of KH putting its manufacture year at 1997.
